June 2022 There are over 1,000 different types of sweet and sour cherries. Sweet cherries are for eating and sour cherries are used for desserts or cherry syrup. Eating a bowl of cherries before a meal will help you eat less overall and can help speed up your metabolism and satisfy your sweet craving. One cherry contains about 5 calories, so be sure to keep track that your weight lose does not backfire!
Any day in June would be a great day to eat cherries and stitch. It has been a year of zoom meetings and in-house meetings. But not any more!!! Our first face-to-face member meeting was held on May 19, 2022. We were pleased to hold a morning and evening meeting back at the Ladue Chapel!! We are so very lucky to be returning! We will not be back to our member meetings this month because we take a break for the summer. During summer, we replace meetings with stitch-ins, at member homes. Please check here for our upcoming summer events. If you are not a member of Gateway Chapter ANG and would like to join us, please email Membership Chairman at friends@gatewayang.org.
