Meetings and Activities

Membership in the Gateway Chapter of the American Needlepoint Guild (ANG) is open to all needlepointers from beginners to experienced. Interested members may attend two member meetings before paying dues. Guests are welcome at any meetings. For information about our meetings, contact our membership chair.

Meeting Programs for 2024/2025

Programs for the next year are in the planning stages and subject to change, but here's what we currently have planned.

September 24 - Stitch Challenge Released
October 14-16: Stitch Away Retreat
November - Evening stitch-in
December 12 - Stitch-in at member's house
January 16 - 1pm at Ladue Chapel
January 26 - Retreat at Needlepoint Clubhouse
February 20 - Stitch Challenge Due, 1pm at Ladue Chapel
March - Non-stitch Embellishments
April - Annual Meeting, Ribbon class (members only)
May - End of Year Luncheon

Monthly Meetings

Meetings are held monthly, usually the third Thursday of the month at 1pm, from September through May (December excepted).

From June to August, we hold stitch-ins at member’s homes.

In case of bad weather, meetings and stitch-ins may be cancelled. Chapter officers will make every effort to notify all members. If we don't reach you, please contact the Chapter President to verify a meeting cancellation.

Monthly Show and Tell
Remember to bring in your needlepoint projects and share your progress and finished projects with other members. What project are you currently stitching? This is our monthly Show and Tell.
